Sanofi Cares

Sanofi Cares is a free online national diabetes care home training programme.

This programme is suitable for individuals who support people living with diabetes in either a care home or home care environment in the UK, such as care home staff and community care teams, including registered nurses and non-registered practitioners (HCAs) or social care workers.

 

What to expect from the training programme:

The training programme consists of a recorded session, three self-led online learning modules and mentoring support through a virtual discussion forum.

  • Learn more about monitoring diabetes, medications, reducing the risk of hospital admission from high and low blood glucose.

  • Learn more about palliative and end of life care, psychological wellbeing, mental health, and learning disabilities.

  • A 30-minute informal forum to allow interactive and engaging conversations via a video call to consolidate learning, allowing the opportunity to ask questions and discuss case studies.

This educational programme is organised and funded by Sanofi. The contents has been independently developed by EDEN and is delivered by EDEN on behalf of Sanofi.
