Support Staff Training Part One & Two
Eden have recently delivered a successful two part digital training programme, focusing on key diabetes information for support staff
The aim of this training was to provide essential information on the symptoms and consequences of diabetes, as well as, recognising the importance of a diabetes review.
Our digital sessions also contained key aspects of learning that were broken up into a selection of fun and engaging elements, ranging from visual and verbal explanations to interactive games and open questions.

Why is diabetes training vital for support staff?
Support staff provide an essential mechanism for doctors, nurses and patients, offering personal and hands-on care. Getting the right training and guidance is incredibly important, as this will help to provide the best patient care and allow duties to be carried out efficiently. As such, training is really beneficial for support staff on a day-to-day basis, assisting them with the diverse range of duties and challenges that occur.
Is investment in training important?
The simple answer is yes, but there are many reasons why investing time in training can be beneficial, some of which are below;
