Launching our new Flash Glucose Monitoring eLearning module

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide healthcare professionals with exceptional diabetes education, we are excited to share our new Flash Glucose Monitoring eLearning module with you.

Prior to 1st April 2019 around 3-5% of people with type 1 diabetes in England had access to Flash Glucose Monitoring.

NHS England set out in their Long Term Plan to end nationwide variation, and ensure that people with type 1 diabetes would benefit from Flash Glucose Monitoring.

Professor Pratik Choudhary and Professor Kamlesh Khunti contribute to the module with an opening video detailing the requirement for Flash Glucose Monitoring training to ensure diabetes quality of care. During the coronavirus pandemic, the data available from Flash Glucose Monitoring has been invaluable. It has allowed healthcare professionals to access information for patients and support with any health concerns.
