Welcome to the newly launched educational resources for type 3c (pancreatogenic) diabetes.
Welcome to the newly launched educational resources for type 3c (pancreatogenic) diabetes, designed to raise awareness of this less common type of diabetes and support healthcare professionals (HCPs) in accurately identifying and managing individuals with type 3c diabetes.
Type 3c diabetes is associated with conditions that cause damage to the pancreas, most commonly pancreatitis. Unfortunately, the true prevalence of type 3c diabetes remains unknown, it is frequently under-recognised and often misdiagnosed as type 2 diabetes.
This educational initiative provides a unique combination of tools, including two concise videos and a quick-reference infographic, to enhance HCPs' understanding and improve the care of individuals living with type 3c diabetes. The goal is to ensure these patients receive the appropriate treatment and support they need.
We invite you to explore these resources by clicking the link below. After reviewing the materials, we kindly request that you complete a brief questionnaire. Your feedback is crucial in evaluating the programme's effectiveness and enhancing future educational initiatives.
